Bill Forsythe is a really good director, and this is a really good movie. Gregory's team has lost eight straight games and the coach wants to bring some new players on the team. When Dorothy comes out, she shocks the coach with how good she is. Gregory is put in the goal and Dorothy is on.
Gregory quickly becomes infactuated with Dorothy and makes his play.
Gregory is a pretty goofy kid, and he is really in love. When Dorothy asks Gregory to help her with his soccer game, Gregory is thrilled. When she goes out on a date with him he is even happier.
Not a whole lot of soccer, but a really good movie.
